Trials for 'bionic' eye implants

The weightless experience aboard an airplane in Earth's atmosphere underscored a point Hawking has been making in recent months: that the future of the human race is in outer space. Hawking called the experience 'amazing,' saying in a statement 'I could have gone on and on--space here I come.'"

Expert Panel Faults U.S. Policies for the Disabled

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Outdated U.S. policies are keeping many disabled Americans from getting help they need, an expert panel said on Tuesday in a report faulting government inaction toward the needs of this growing population.

Gymboree Class for Children with Special Needs

Image of Children PlayingGood News!!!...Melanie Slattery, owner of Gymboree, is starting a class for Children with ALL Special Needs on Friday, June 1 at 3 pm....The cost will be $129 for 10 weeks and she is waiving the enrollment fee!!!...Also, siblings (in the appropriate age and level) will be allowed to attend THIS class and there will be a 50% discount, normally a 30% discount. There will be a FREE TRIAL CLASS on Thursday, May 24 at 4:30 pm!
