SC Autism Society Seeks Thanksgiving Turkey Drive Donations

South Carolina Autism Society Holds
Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

In 2008, the South Carolina Autism Society and the LUCAS Network first partnered to provide a Thanksgiving dinner to families affected by autism who are going through financial difficulties. Thanks to the community’s donations, almost 900 families in need have been served since 2008. Your donations supported 130 families in 2016 alone! The need continues to grow.

For 2017, we will again be collecting financial donations and distributing grocery store gift cards to recipients. Your donations allow this beneficial program to continue!

To make an online donation, click here. You can also send a check made out to the SC Autism Society, with “Turkey Drive” in the memo field. Mail it to the South Carolina Autism Society, 806 12th Street, West Columbia, SC  29169.

Your donation is tax deductible. Thank you for supporting our families!

Nominations for recipients will open at a later date. Stay tuned!

Hurricane Harvey has already devastated Texas-and it’s not over yet.

We need your help!
There are over 30,000 people in Texas currently displaced from their homes, many with disabilities who are in need of Assistive Technology and/or Durable Medical Equipment that they could not take with them. Please consider donating any Assistive Technology or Durable Medical Equipment that you no longer need. Items we are looking for are Wheelchairs, Walkers, Rollators, and Shower Chairs.

We want to help Texas as much as we can, but we can’t do it without YOU and your generous donations. Please let me know if you have any items that you can donate for us to send to Texas. I will be happy to come pick them up.

Please email me, Alli Upchurch, or call 803-935-5273 for more information or to arrange a donation pick-up.

THANK YOU!
