Credential Corner
The Office of Special Education Services in collaboration with the Transition Alliance of South Carolina hosted the 2019 South Carolina High School Credential (SCHSC) Symposium on February 11th and 12th. Implementation teams from around the state were able to receive updates related to the credential to include revised tools and resources; state guidance related to the work readiness assessment requirement; and time to strategically plan for year two of implementation.
Updated resources, the Work Readiness Assessment guidance, and related symposium event materials can be found on the SCHSC website. If you have any questions related to the information shared at the symposium and how this will impact implementation in your district, please contact the district’s SCHSC implementation team leader. Other related general questions can be submitted by completing the SCHSC Inquiry Form.
