"We Americans everywhere must and shall choose the path of social justice...the path of faith, the path of hope, and the path of love toward our fellow man," Franklin D. Roosevelt quoted during the throws of the Great Depression in 1932. In honor of Presidents Day we share this quote from this disabled former president who, while imperfect, had a personal understanding of the need for justice and civil liberties.
