March is Brain Injury  Awareness Month! March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness and stand with the millions of people affected by brain injury. This month, we invite you to take action by supporting the Walk, Run & Roll for Brain Injury Awareness, making a donation, or participating in one of our programs. Free writing toolkit with your Every Story Matters registration. A few spaces remain for Every Story Matters, a FREE creative writing workshop for brain injury survivors beginning March 18. Participants receive a free Every Story Matters Toolkit to support storytelling, reflection, and creativity throughout the workshop. The South Carolina Youth Leadership Forum is a summer experience where you can become a leader for disability rights — all while having fun. The SC YLF is open to anyone 15–23 years old, who has a disability, shows leadership potential in school or their community, and lives in South Carolina. Apply now! Veteran Experience Action Center Veterans are invited to attend the Veteran Experience Action Center. This event is for veterans and family members interested in applying for veteran benefits or disability compensation. Learn more. A retired occupational therapist with more than 30 years of experience, Laura also brings a powerful personal perspective as a brain injury survivor.
