Each year, the Brain Injury Association of America and other key stakeholders host a Brain Injury Awareness Day on Capitol Hill during Brain Injury Awareness Month in March. This year, we are excited to announce that we are expanding this annual Awareness Day event to include a conference for brain injury survivors and caregivers.
This event offers the brain injury community the unique opportunity to connect with other survivors, learn more about living with brain injury, advocate for brain injury causes, and more. We hope you’ll join us at this multi-day event of empowerment, advocacy, and community. The preliminary schedule includes: - Monday, March 3: Optional pre-conference activities and a social event
- Tuesday, March 4: The National Brain Injury Conference kicks off with a full day of events
- Wednesday, March 5: Meet with congressional representatives to advocate for brain injury causes
