Introducing Samone' Howard, BIASC's new Health Coordinator Liaison! A University of South Carolina alumna with a B.A. in Public Health and a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Samone' brings a passion for community health to the team. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, exploring Columbia, and is teaching herself to sew. She’s excited to help strengthen partnerships and raise awareness about brain injury.

November is National Family Caregivers Month

BIASC recognizes and honors family caregivers across the country. This month offers an opportunity to raise awareness of caregiving issues, educate communities, and increase support. Find free education, peer support, and resources for family caregivers at the Caregiver Action Network (CAN).

New Peer Mentorship Programs

BIASC is developing two new Peer Mentorship Programs – one for brain injury survivors and one for caregivers. If you are interested in becoming a peer mentor, please complete the appropriate survey.
