The Early Social Developmental Lab Study with USC

The Newborn Study at USC is enrolling infant* siblings of children with autism for an in-home research study. Researchers will periodically visit you and your infant in your home from birth to age 3 years to gather information about your infant's attention and social development. Each visit will last 1-2 hours. Families receive early developmental assessments, free feedback, and up to $250 for participation.

Right now, the lab has openings for newborn infants (under 6 months) with an older sibling with autism OR who might be pending an autism evaluation.

Enhancing Communication: A New Opportunity for Families and Educators of Children with Autism

Vanderbilt University is holding a research study for parents of children with autism (ages 3-21) to participate in a groundbreaking study aimed at improving communication between schools and families. The SHARE (School-Home Alliance for Relationship Enhancement) program includes virtual learning sessions, role-playing, and the creation of a personalized communication action plan. This study takes just 4 hours over 6 weeks, and participants will help test strategies to strengthen the relationship between educators and families.
