Are you interested in developing your leadership potential?
Serving your community by participating on boards, committees, and councils is a great way to share your input as a person with a disability. Community Leadership Academy helps you develop your personal leadership style while giving you the tools and resources you need to be an effective leader in your community. We are looking for at least eight people to join the group. You'll get 18 hours of leadership skills through these sessions.

• Financial review
• Being the disability voice
• Networking

Let's Go Back to Work!
We
partner with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department to
help those with spinal cord injuries go back to work. Vocational
Rehabilitation may be able to assist in finding resources to help you
understand your options for becoming or staying employed. Services
range from assessment of eligibility, disability management, training to
enhance work experiences and skills, and job search assistance.

Meeting-up with others may also be a great way to relieve stress.

The day's events will feature speakers from the disability community, an advocacy rally, and will give YOU the opportunity to meet with your legislator about your concerns as a person with a disability or an ally/advocate.
