It's time to register for Mapping Your Future and Empowering a Future! Join us for one of three sessions over two days to foster engagement and community involvement for youth with disabilities. 

Mapping Your Future
Saturday, March 16, 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM


Mapping Your Future is a FREE event for youth with disabilities and their families to learn about pursuing their goals in employment, education/training, and independent living. Hear from your peers on topics about independent living, employment, and education and connect with the community service providers that are there to support you every step of the way! Youth with disabilities in transition and up to two family members are invited to select which half of the day fits their needs and join us for some fantastic content!

Empowering a Future is our transition conference for professionals working alongside young adults with disabilities in South Carolina. From content on Pre-Employment Transition Services to best practice in self-determination skill building, this conference has something for any professional working in a transition-related field!

A dynamic spoken-word poet. A tireless advocate for all people with disabilities. An inspiring motivational speaker. A bridge-builder between learners and leaders across the U.S. and around the world. LeDerick Horne uses his gift for spoken-word poetry as the gateway to larger discussions on equal opportunity, pride, self-determination, and hope for people with disabilities. 

This keynote presentation provides strategies for increasing academic performance, self-determination, and self-advocacy skills of students with disabilities. This emotionally stirring talk is filled with moving verses and empowering information that will prepare YOU to challenge stereotypes and improve the lives of people with disabilities.
