This year, we will be celebrating Buddy Walk in an all new virtual format and you can register today! While we would love to celebrate with you in person, we are excited to offer families and sponsors new ideas to support each other and Buddy Walk 2020!
This year, during Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we are inviting participants and sponsors to create their own personalized Buddy Walk celebration at any time during the month of October. Keeping social distance and safety at the forefront of these personalized celebrations, be creative and tailor your activities to family, friends, and customers.
Our Theme:
We encourage taking a walk, throwing a backyard barbecue or tailgate party, decorating houses, yards or businesses, creating a game night, or hosting a virtual party—there are many fun ways celebrate!
We will be asking everyone to send us a brief video clip or photo of their personalized celebration. Then, on November 1, we will host a virtual “Finish Line” Ceremony to view a video premier of the celebrations, present the 2020 Awards, visit with a few special guests, and more!
