Reebok's Adaptive Sneakers, Reviewed

Reebok and Zappos Adaptive released a line of easy-entry, unisex sneakers a few weeks ago. We got pairs for two wheelchair users — Mike Franz and Jenny Smith — to review. Smith was excited about the design and fit of the shoes, while Franz found the adaptations lacking. Click the link to find out why.

Getty and Verizon Announce $40,000 Disability Communities Grant

The two companies are expanding their efforts to increase authentic disability representation in the media with a new grant that funds projects focusing on the “community” aspect of disability life. Disabled photographers and videographers are encouraged to apply. Applications are open until June 30.
