Hello families! Each year we create our LOOK! photography exhibit featuring children and young people from families we serve. The exhibit travels to a number of venues across the state after an opening reception in Columbia. Details for LOOK! 2026 - Applications are now open--apply today!
- We will match your family with a professional photographer in your area who will volunteer their time to host a private session with your child, in a location that suits your child's abilities and interests.
- Photo sessions will be scheduled through the end of March, 2026.
- Following your session, the photographer will submit photos from your session to Family Connection.
- We will choose one photo from your child's session to be part of the LOOK! 2026 exhibit.
- You will be invited to the opening reception, which will be held on Sunday, June 7th at the Richland County Library in downtown Columbia.
- Following the reception, you will receive the photos from your session on a flash drive.
If you have participated in a past LOOK! exhibit, you are welcome to participate this year also! All applicants will receive a list of guidelines and a questionnaire about your child, which we will use to write a story to accompany your child's photo.
