Nutrition for People with a Spinal Cord Injury

Good Nutrition Leads to Healthy Life

Greetings everyone,

The United Spinal Association is raising awareness on the secondary health issues of people with spinal cord injuries due to poor nutrition by hosting a webinar. The two main health issues that they will address are obesity and pressure sores. The discussion will include the types of food that promote good health verses food that promote bad health, the amount of food intake, and nutritional strategies that promote healthy dieting. The audience includes people with spinal cord injury and their family members, caregivers, and health care providers.
