What is augmented reality? How can I use augmented reality with my students or child? Is it complicated? Come explore how using augmented reality to integrate digital information into your existing environment can make your classroom or home more accessible and fun. We will discuss what augmented reality is, explore some examples of augmented reality, and create an augmented reality during this session.


Elizabeth Moore has worked in South Carolina schools for more than a decade. After earning her B.A. from USC and her MLA from Converse College, she has worked as an instructional technology specialist and has integrated instructional technology and assistive technology into the curriculum and the lives of students. Now Elizabeth is an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Office of Special Education Services at the South Carolina Department of Education where she serves students with disabilities who have assistive technology needs throughout the state.
