So often, people with disabilities voices aren't heard. They aren't regarded as leaders in the community. We are here to tell you that you CAN be a leader, and an excellent one at that. Sometimes it's just hard to know where to begin.

Take the online Community Leadership Academy and you'll learn how to advocate for yourself and the larger disability community, and you'll learn how to get your start in becoming a leader in your community.

You don't have to have any previous leadership experience, just a willingness to learn and participate!

Most spots are reserved for people with disabilities and health conditions, but we also have a few spots available for parents/family members of people with disabilities! If either of those descriptions apply to you, register today!

Session topics include:

  • Community leadership
  • Effective communication
  • Networking
  • Functions of a non-profit board
  • Government committees and councils
  • Financial review
  • Disability rights
