We want to hear from YOU, young adults ages 15-29 years who need support for yourselves or loved ones in your life impacted by brain injury.

We have had low attendance numbers for our BrainStorm Young Adult Support and Advocacy Meetings and want to make sure we are meeting at a time that works for you!

To help us find the best date and time to meet the 3rd week of 2023 please fill out the Doodle Poll below. The Doodle Poll will ONLY ask you about dates the 3rd week in January, however your answers will help us determine the best meeting dates and times for EVERY month in the new year.

Time for Monthly BrainStorm Meetings

As a reminder...BrainStorm is....

BrainStorm is a group for young adults ages 15-29 who are striving to advocate, educate, and create a safe space for individuals that have ben affected by concussions, traumatic brain injuries, or acquired brain injuries in any capacity.

This group strives to bring. visibility to this 'invisible" injury through education, advocacy, open-communication, and support.

WHO:

  • Survivors, Friends, Family, and Advocates of Brain Injury
  • Anyone between the ages of 15-29 years of age
  • Someone who has a brain injury that impacts their life in at least one way on a regular basis
  • Someone whose parent, neighbor, friend, sibling, significant other, etc. is living with a brain injury

WHAT ARE THESE MEETINGS:

An opportunity to assist youth in:

  • Finding community and peer support - you are not alone in your experience with brain injury!
  • Educating anyone and everyone in your community about brain injuries

WHERE:

  • Virtual meetings on Zoom once a month
  • In 2022 met the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30 - 8 pm EST
