Our annual photography exhibit features families from across the state. Professional photographers volunteer their time for candid sessions with the children and young adults from families we serve.

Support Parent Training

South Carolina parents/caregivers, join us for an interactive workshop providing four hours of evidence-based training to give you (a parent of a child with special health care needs) the skills to be able to support another parent effectively.
The goal of the Support Parent Program is to help educate, inspire and empower parents and their children to live rich, fulfilling lives in spite of many challenges.
Attendees who complete the training will receive a certificate as well as additional opportunities for skill development and volunteer time during their year commitment with Family Connection of SC.

Waze to Adulthood: Parent/Professional Training
Monday, March 6 - Friday, March 24
Turning 18 is a big deal! An 18-year-old is legally considered an adult in South Carolina and can make legal, medical, financial, medical, and educational decisions in their life.
This free self-paced online training will share basic information about things that need to be considered as a person turns 18.
Training can be accessed any time between March 6 and March 24.
Certification of completion for two hours will be provided to participants who complete this training.
Presented by PEATC in collaboration with Family Connection of SC.
