The South Carolina Assistive Technology Program (SCATP) in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Education is hosting a free training for all school district educators and staff. The training is free but participants must register to attend.
About the Program
The South Carolina K12 Accessibility Boot Camp is a free two-day event with the goal of connecting educators and district staff with professionals who will share best practices and accessibility and inclusive learning environments.
The mission of the South Carolina K12 Accessibility Boot Camp is to provide accessibility and inclusivity training that empowers participants to create quality accessible and inclusive learning environments and remove barriers for all.
Participants will:
- understand the importance of accessible educational materials
- be able to create and implement accessible educational materials in the learning environment
- remove access to learning barriers for all learners
Lunch will be provided.
CEU Information: The SC Department of Education will provide eligible participants one renewal credit per one hour session.
