Are
you working with or living with anyone age 55 and older who is using or
new to using a smart home device such as Google Home or Alexa?
Please
help a group of occupational (OT) students with their research by
completing the following survey with the person who is using the
device:
Attached
are resources the OT students created after their initial research and
in collaboration with the NC Assistive Technology Program:
- Preliminary Alexa and Google Device handouts to provide to clients tips on how to use and set up different ways to use the smart speaker device occupationally.
Again, the survey is for populations ages 55+ and uses a google form to collect data following the use of a smart speaker decided to see how clients used the speaker occupationally.
If
you have not used a smart home device but would like more information
on how smart devices can be used as an assistive technology tool, please select contact us on our website (right side of the screen) to request a demo or more information.
