NADD is seeking presentation proposals for 90-minute
Skill Building Workshops, Research Symposia, and Poster
Presentations. We have received some great submissions already, and
want to give more potential presenters the opportunity to
participate! At this time, the submission deadline for
presentation proposals has been extended to March
22, 2024 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
All presentations should focus on wellness and mental
health practices that promote quality of life for individuals with
dual diagnosis (IDD/MI).
Presentation proposals focusing on the following
topics are encouraged:

Life Span Issues (Early Intervention, Adolescence,
Adults & Aging)

Family & Caregiver Issues

Workforce Development (Direct Support Professional,
Training)

Gender, Identity & Sexuality

Technology Innovations
·
Program Models (Funding Innovation, Criminal Justice)
·
Transition (Community Living, Employment, Higher
Education)
·
Treatment (Counseling & Therapeutic Approaches,
Trauma Informed Care, Behavior Support, Psychopharmacological
Approaches, Substance Use Disorder, Crisis Intervention)
Please note that there are two separate submission
portals: one for workshops and research symposia, and one for
posters.
