NADD's 41st Annual Conference will be held October 7-9, 2024 in Tempe, Arizona! The theme of this year's conference is "A View to the Future: Innovation and Excellence." Planning is well underway for this event and we are looking forward to coming together in person this fall.

The conference will be held at the Om ni Tempe Hotel at ASU. The hotel is within walking distance of the ASU campus and situated in Tempe's newly-revitalized downtown. Rooms are available at a reduced rate of $249 per night for conference attendees. Click here to book your lodging now!

Call for Presentations

At this time, NADD is seeking presentation proposals for 90-minute Skill Building Workshops, Research Symposia, and Poster Presentations.

All presentations should focus on wellness and mental health practices that promote quality of life for individuals with dual diagnosis (IDD/MI).

Presentation proposals focusing on the following topics are encouraged:

· Diagnosis & Assessment

· Ethics

· Life Span Issues (Early Intervention, Adolescence, Adults & Aging)

· Family & Caregiver Issues

· Workforce Development (Direct Support Professional, Training)

· Gender, Identity & Sexuality

· Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

· Technology Innovations

· Program Models (Funding Innovation, Criminal Justice)

· Transition (Community Living, Employment, Higher Education)

· Treatment (Counseling & Therapeutic Approaches, Trauma Informed Care, Behavior Support, Psychopharmacological Approaches, Substance Use Disorder, Crisis Intervention)
