Across South Carolina an
increasing number of families are navigating raising a child with a
disability while experiencing housing instability.
Family Connection is
hosting a series of summits for community-serving organizations who
would like to learn more about rights and resources for students under
the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and the
McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.

CEU Details:
AHEC:
This program is approved for 0.3 CEU’s (3.0 clock hours) of continuing
education by Mid-Carolina AHEC and meets the SC AHEC Best Practice Standards. Participants must
attend 90% of the program to receive a certificate of attendance. No
partial credit will be given.
SOCIAL WORKERS: This program has
been approved by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners for 3.0 clock
hours of social work
continuing
education.
This
training has been approved for Community Health Worker Continuing
Education Units (CHW CEUs) by the South Carolina Community Health
Worker Association.
