Empower Hour meets online weekly: Thursdays from 1 pm to 2 pm In Person Monthly at Columbia and Greenville offices: 2nd Thursday of each month from 4 pm- 5 pm.

October State of Disability Pride SC: Virtual Town HallOctober's “State of Disability Pride SC: Virtual Town Hall” is coming on October 22 at 5:30 pm. This meeting will be held virtually on the Zoom platform. Register to attend by clicking the “Register to Attend” button at the end of this message. During the event, our Advocacy Team will present the issues people with disabilities are facing today: - We will cover what lawmakers have done at the federal and state levels
- We will share practical tips on how to engage
- You will leave with knowledge about how these issues impact you
- You will leave equipped with how to advocate for your disability community
As a reminder, Able South Carolina is a nonpartisan organization — we believe that it is important to address barriers to political and social information by providing accessible educational spaces for disability communities and their supporters.
