Orcam Presentation and Demonstration Day

Target Audience: People with Low Vision or Blindness
Participants Will Learn:
- About the Orcam MyEye and Orcam Read Devices.
- How these devices can help them with daily activities such as reading, facial recognition, barcode scanning, and currency recognition.
- How these devices could be beneficial to them specifically as they can demonstrate the devices and ask questions particular to their situations.
About the Program:
The purpose of this presentation is to introduce Orcam's assistive technology devices to those with low vision or blindness and let them use the devices to see if they would benefit from them. The participants can demonstrate these devices with the representatives present and get answers to questions.
Demonstrations will be done by Sean Snyder from Orcam and Frank and Edna Beard from Quintex Low Vision. Frank and Edna have been working with the visually impaired since 1989.
