The call for presentations is open for just a bit longer! NADD will continue to seek presentation proposals for 90-minute Skill Building Workshops, Research Symposia, Panel Presentations, and Posters until April 27th.
NEW THIS YEAR: We are using a new system (CE-Go) to collect presentation proposals. Please contact conferences@thenadd.org with any questions regarding the new submission process. Please note: this email will not be monitored on weekends, so be sure to reach out with any questions about the submission process by April 25th.
All presentations should focus on wellness and mental health practices that promote quality of life for individuals with dual diagnosis (IDD/MI).
Presentation proposals focusing on the following topics are encouraged: - Diagnosis & Assessment
- Ethics
- Cultural Considerations
- Life Span Issues (Early Intervention, Adolescence, Adults & Aging)
- Family & Caregiver Issues
- Workforce Development (Direct Support Professional Training)
- Gender, Identity & Sexuality
- Technology Innovations
- Program Models (Funding Innovation, Criminal Legal System)
- Transition (Community Living, Employment, Higher Education)
- Treatment Approaches (i.e. Counseling & Therapeutic Approaches, Trauma-Informed Care, Behavior Support, Psychopharmacological Approaches, Substance Use Disorder, Crisis Intervention)
