Attend today's webinar at 12 p.m. Register Now! The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) has established a new Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC) to serve as a vital advisory body to ensuring that the voices, perspectives, and lived experiences of Medicaid beneficiaries are heard and inform Medicaid program design and decision-making. The BAC empowers members to provide meaningful input and feedback on Medicaid policies and programs, directly based on their experiences navigating the healthcare system. BAC members help identify challenges and opportunities within the Medicaid system, including service gaps and barriers to access. By engaging with SCDHHS staff, the BAC informs efforts to improve Medicaid programs, supporting initiatives that aim to make services more equitable, accessible, and responsive to the diverse needs of beneficiaries. Council members also serve as community representatives-offering insights and raising issues that may otherwise go unrecognized. Learn more about the Beneficiary Advisory Council and Apply Today! |
